A Day To Remember

Because of what happened on this day at Pearl Harbor, life changed for all of us and especially my grandparent’s generation. Many of Saginaw’s citizens went to fight in the war and the people here converted from making automotive parts to making supplies for the war effort. I thought it fitting that today’s photo was of the memorial in front of the courthouse. I have been to the courthouse several times and never really noticed it. When we open our eyes and look around us for new things to discover we find things that were right in front of us all along.
